Aim of the course:

  • Understanding of the meaning of equal opportunities

  • An awareness of the legislation

  • Knowledge of prejudice and what constitutes discrimination 

  • Equal opportunities in care

Course overview:

  • To explain what legislation covers equal opportunities

  • To know the difference between prejudice and discrimination

  • To identify good practices within their work role that promotes equal opportunities

To tailor the course to your needs we will need some idea of your service user group and any particular issues you would like us to address, otherwise we are happy to run our standard course as detailed above.
