Aim of the course:

Understanding of the meaning of equal opportunities
An awareness of the legislation
Knowledge of prejudice and what constitutes discrimination
Equal opportunities in care

Course overview:

To explain what legislation covers equal opportunities
To know the difference between prejudice and discrimination
To identify good practices within their work role that promotes equal opportunities

To tailor the course to your needs we will need some idea of your service user group and any particular issues you would like us to address, otherwise we are happy to run our standard course as detailed above.

A minimum of 3 participants
A maximum of 10 participants

You don't need any prior knowledge as it will all be covered in the course
