Our training division has been providing bespoke training services to care providers throughout England for over 10 years.
Company Director Juliette Macdonald has over 30 years of experience, first as a Nurse, then as a Training Manager for a national care provider. Prior to creating Active Care and Training she was a Registered Manager in home care.

Caring for You at Home
We provide quality care staff to support individuals or couples, either self funded or funded by the Local Authority, living in their own homes. Whether it’s a 30 minute welfare check once a week, or 24hrs a day 7 days a week, our friendly professional staff can meet your needs.
All our care staff are fully trained to a high standard, benefitting from our own expert training division. We take your safety very seriously and all staff have a current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Our ethos is all about working in partnership with you, putting you at the centre of your care. From the initial assessment, where you or your loved ones discuss your support needs with us, and ongoing throughout our partnership together.
We provide a wide range of interactive care related courses, delivered by friendly professional trainers, at a venue of your choice. Our team have created innovative training programs that engage, inspire & motivate your staff. We can even track the timing of updates for you, using our learning management system.
Juliette, our primary trainer, holds qualifications in nursing, teaching and care management, in addition to high level qualifications in Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, First Aid and Moving and Handling.
